Parliament decides to host the president and members of the Federal Supreme Court and finalize the reading of five bills

The House of Representatives decided in its 11th session held under the chairmanship of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/8033/%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%84%D8%A8%D9%88%D8%B3%D9%8A]Mohamed Halboussi, the[/url] President of the Council today, in the presence of 175 deputies, hosting the President and members of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1521/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A7]the Federal Supreme Court to[/url] inquire about some of the decisions issued therefrom, and ended reading five draft laws.

The council postponed the vote on the draft financial management law to a meeting on the second of May next to complete the discussion of the draft and the maturation of its articles before its legislation.
In the same regard, the Council completed the first reading of the draft law of the Communications and Information Authority, which aims to regulate the work in the means of communication and the preparation of the main broadcasting and media regulations and their adoption in the granting of licenses for frequency and broadcasting services and wireless transmission at the national level and access to network services and their interconnection and regulation of radio frequency spectrum, Endpoints for wireless communications, beneficiary protection and information and standards for media work.
The first session of the Supreme Iraqi Maritime Commission (IMO) was held in order to organize and develop the maritime sector, adopt international standards to work in it, comply with international agreements in the field of safety and protection of the marine environment and encourage the private sector to work in maritime transport and upgrade services. And the establishment of the Iraqi Supreme Marine Corps.
The Council voted on a resolution banning electronic games that incite violence because of negative effects on the health, culture and security of Iraqi society, including the social and moral threat to children, youth, girls and school and university students and their negative impact on education and education. The Council decided to ask the government to ban and block all matters related to The exercise of these electronic games or trading such as the game of the Babbage and Fort Knight and the game of blue whale or games and the prevailing and similar as they threaten social security,
moral, educational and educational on all segments of Iraqi society and guide Ministry of Communications and Media and Communications for the purpose of taking all appropriate technical measures to implement this decision.

After that, the Council ended the first reading of the draft law of Iraq's accession to the agreement of the Asian Investment Bank for infrastructure for the purpose of building and rehabilitation of infrastructure in Iraq and diversify sources of funding and for the accession of Iraq to the Convention.
The Council completed the reading of a report and discussion of the draft Industrial Cities Law.
On the other, the Speaker of the House of Representatives pointed out that the federal budget law for the year 2019, the government committed to pay the transfer fees to the lecturers contracted with the Ministry of Education before the law came into force, directed to the parliamentary education and finance committees to host representatives of the Ministries of Finance and Education to discuss the subject and to inform the Presidency of the results of hosting .
On the other hand, Al Halbusi pointed out that the decisions of the Federal Court are two different directions in their interpretation of the rulings issued by them, especially with regard to challenging the validity of the membership of some MPs, wondering about any decisions adopted by the Council especially that the decisions of the Federal Court are binding.
And instructed the President of the House of Representatives to set a date to host the President and members of the Federal Court in the next sessions of the Council to inquire about some of the decisions issued.
The Council decided to postpone the reading of the report and discussion of the draft law of the first amendment to the Integrity Commission Law No. (30) for 2011. The
Council completed reading the report and discussion of the draft traffic law.
The deputies' interventions focused on transferring part of the fines revenues to the local administrations to enhance their resources and improve their services, amend the name of the law and make it a "traffic and traffic", in addition to modifying some time periods related to the registration of vehicles and the proposal to impose punishment on those who tamper with traffic signals, Excessive cars causing chaos on the streets, as well as demanding the inclusion of motorcycles in traffic circles.
For its part, the Committee on Legislation of Law confirmed the consideration of all observations and take them into account and study for the maturity of the project and vote on it, after which decided to adjourn the meeting to Saturday, the twenty-seventh of this month.
