The Minister of Industry and Minerals Saleh Abdullah Jubouri said: "The purpose of the symposium is to explain the importance of protecting the national product and its impact on the national economy and cooperation to develop mechanisms to ensure the success of the protection measures for the national product and provide support for the Iraqi economy from all parties concerned," stressing: Efforts and coordination with other departments, especially the Customs Authority and border crossings. "
"The ministry has issued a number of decisions to protect a number of products, but it is facing problems in implementation because of lack of cooperation from some quarters," he said, calling for the implementation of protection decisions and work under customs tariff laws and protect the national product.
