Iran's oil minister has announced a $ 25 billion target for sales of petrochemical products by opening 18 new projects by 2021.
On the sidelines of the International Oil, Gas and Refining Fair in Tehran on Friday, Bahzad Mohammadi expected sales to grow by 46 percent by that date. He pointed out that Iran's petrochemicals have 30 export markets in Europe, Asia and various other countries.
Mohammadi pointed out that the local petrochemical industry produces 18 groups of polymer products currently.
