A member of the Committee on Oil and Energy in the House of Representatives Ali Aboudi, on Tuesday, that the federal government has more than one option to stop the continuation of the definition of the Kurdistan region to deliver 250 thousand barrels of oil per day to the National Oil Exporting Company.
"The subject of the region's commitment to hand over oil to Baghdad has become a binding law and within the tenth paragraph of the budget, not an oral agreement or an understanding that may not be applied. It should be implemented, not violated as a binding item for Kurdistan," Aboudi told the news agency.
"The province to date has not handed over one barrel to Baghdad since the adoption of the budget and to today despite Baghdad's commitment to its paragraphs," noting that "the government will be obliged to deter this behavior by the Kurdistan and we hope that the delivery of oil before things reach to cut financial dues from the region and return The same problem that was going on previously. "
