The Parliamentary Finance Committee accused Education Minister [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/3322/%D9%82%D8%B5%D9%8A %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%87%D9%8A%D9%84]Qusay al-Suhail of[/url] insulting former education ministers by talking about the waste of money in printing textbooks.
The head of the committee, MP Haitham al-Jubouri, said during a meeting of the committee: "There is a big problem in the media and social networking sites following the statement of the Minister of Higher Education and [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/623/%D9%88%D8%B2%D9%8A%D8%B1 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%B1%D8%A8%D9%8A%D8%A9]Minister of Education and[/url] agency [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/3322/%D9%82%D8%B5%D9%8A %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%87%D9%8A%D9%84]Qusay al-Suhail[/url] about the possibility of saving 150 billion out of 200 billion dinars in the budget of 2019 to the ministry, Textbooks and other supplies. "
Al-Jubouri: "These statements insulting former ministers of education because of the figures disclosed by Suhail, which is incorrect and in which the wrong information and the public opinion to know that well," stressing: "The Committee decided to add Deputy Minister Ali Ibrahimi and a number of officials and director General of Al-Nahrain General Company for Printing and Supplies and representatives of a number of printing companies to identify these statements, which sparked a wide debate in the street. "
