Nazim told the official agency, and "Nass" followed him (June 17, 2021), that "so far, the date of the tripartite summit has not been set, but this does not mean that business between the three countries (Iraq, Jordan and Egypt) has stopped," noting that "the previous summit that It was held in Amman that identified paths for economic and cultural work.
He added, "There are ongoing works on the ground in the border area between Iraq and Jordan, and there are also important negotiations on the issue of electrical interconnection between the three countries," stressing that "works are underway and the summit is still in progress, but the date has not been set."
On the fifth of April 2021, the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee stressed the need for countries in the region to make investments in Iraq, while noting that the tripartite summit scheduled to be held in Baghdad was postponed and not canceled.
