, on Saturday, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, opened the file of the assassination of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and the commander of the Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, at the Baghdad summit, revealing the volume of trade exchange.
Abdullahian said, in his speech during the launch of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which was followed by Mawazine News: "We are happy with our participation in the Baghdad Conference, and that Iraq plays an important role in the region."
He added, "Tehran is one of the first countries in the region to recognize the new Iraq, and it supports Iraq's stability and territorial integrity."
He continued, "Iraq has been greatly affected by the emergence of terrorist groups."
He pointed out that "the trade exchange with Iraq during the past years amounted to 300 billion dollars."
He stressed, "Tehran provided support to Iraq in the fight against terrorism, and we stress support for the security and stability of Iraq with the participation of neighboring countries," stressing that "Tehran emphasizes achieving peace and negotiation, and that security can only be established through mutual trust between the countries of the region."
He pointed out, "America caused chaos in the region, and it will regret the assassination of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis." Ended 29/A43
