Three banks sell the dollar at a rate lower than the price stated

Iraqi Central Bank announced on Thursday, all three banks for sale at a minimum price of $ Advertised price, considering that it came in the framework of supporting the Iraqi dinar exchange rate and the provision of foreign currencies is the facilitator of the citizens.
The bank said in a statement issued today, and received "Alsumaria News", a copy of "central bank governor received, today, a formal letter from the Association of Banks, includes a commitment to the announcement earlier initiative by three banks as a first stage to sell the dollar to the public at lower price announced up to 1183 dinars to the dollar instead of 1189 for cash, and 1178 dinars to the dollar instead of the 1184 documentary credits. "
He said the bank "that came in the framework of supporting the Iraqi dinar exchange rate and the provision of foreign currencies facilitator of citizens," praising "This initiative, which represents the natural behavior which show most of the country's banks."
And saw the Iraqi market, during the past few days, a gradual rise in the dollar exchange rate reached to 1,300 dinars per dollar, after having settled on the exchange rate from 1180 to 1200 dinars to the dollar for more than a year.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Central Bank hold daily sessions for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies with the participation of Iraqi banks, which finances the traders from the private sector, excluding public holidays on which depends the World Bank for these auctions, the sales either in cash or in the form of money orders sold abroad for a commission certain.
