    Twilight News / Iraqi Observatory for Human Rights on Tuesday called on the ministers of interior and defense to investigate the new information circulated by international organizations to "the existence of secret prisons" and "torture" by the security forces against detainees in the country.
    The observatory said in a statement responded to the Twilight News, said he "should and interior and defense ministers of the new Qasim al-Araji and Irfan Hayali, who voted them the Iraqi Council of Representatives on January 30, 2017, could play a comprehensive review of the file of human rights in their ministries and give this great interest."

    The statement went on that "the two ministers also investigate the information issued by international human rights organizations indicating that there is a subsidiary of the two ministries of secret prisons, as they have to cherish that not be arrests without judicial orders and be the treatment of detainees in a manner contrary to human rights standards without beating or torture, and that the Alzima cadres of the two ministries in all international conventions and treaties and instruments signed by Iraq. "
    He called the Iraqi Observatory for Human Rights to "help the two ministers Araji Hayali media and human rights organizations to access information for a smooth and long ways from the absence of the truth, and to allow visits to prisons, according to official procedure is complex."
    The Observatory called "the Interior Minister to urge the ministry's forces against peaceful demonstrators exposure while demanding their rights, and promote legal knowledge among the employees of the ministry and prevent the use of force against any civilian."
    The statement called on "the defense minister to investigate recent allegations according to which the existence of cases of torture of civilians, he committed elements in Iraqi army uniforms in the conflict areas in Mosul, and hold negligent be found guilty, and zero tolerance to prevent any new cases of impunity."
    He stressed the Iraqi Observatory for Human Rights on "the need for the ministries of interior and defense of human rights culture than to all associates for them, and the introduction of those who are in direct contact with the citizen training courses in how to deal in accordance with international human rights standards."
    The statement called on "the two ministers need to review all the reports issued by international and local human rights organizations, which indicate the presence of ill-treatment and torture by some elements of the security personnel of the two ministries, and the help of violated his right to bring abusers of his rights before the courts."
