{Follow:} Euphrates News said the oil minister, Ali Jabar Luaibi, that Iraq is ready to reduce its production of crude again if OPEC decided.
He said Allaibi Monday during a conference of the energy sector in Houston , said that "it was premature to say whether it should be for OPEC to extend production cuts , " adding that Baghdad " is ready to participate if the organization decided to extend the restrictions before the second half of the year."
"It is too early to talk about any changes, it will depend on oil prices and stabilize themarket, if OPEC decided cuts, Iraq will be reduced."
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries {OPEC} - which consists of 14 countries, joined them recently Indonesia agreed on 28 December last to reduce the total production of the organization for the first time since 2008 in order to restore the balance in the market; which would raise world oil prices relatively .
Saudi Arabia has agreed to assume the bulk of the production reduction, as agreed to back down to 10.06 million barrels per day, from the production level of 10.54 million barrels a day in October, or about half a million barrels a day.
As for Iraq 's share of the freeze was 210,000 barrels per day.
OPEC 's agreement represents an acknowledgment of the formula that came out of a meeting in Algeria last September, a reduction of the total production of the Organization to 32.5 million barrels a day, compared with October's 33.6 million barrels a day.
OPEC has agreed to identify Iran 's production to 3.79 million barrels per day, under the new production ceiling of the Organization, which means actually allow Iran to increase its production by about a hundred thousand barrels per day from the rate in October of 3.69 million barrels a day, according to data Oopk.anthy
