    Ministry of municipalities and public works spending by more than 70 percent of the investment budget for the current year for water and sewage projects, municipalities and urban planning.

    And the Ministry's media adviser said Jassem Mohammed Salem (news of the Iraqi media network) that the Ministry spent the passed rate of 70 percent of the investment budget for the current year through the assignment of scores of infrastructure projects to be implemented in all the provinces, including the assignment of 9 projects during the current month to the implementation by discreet, pointing out that the Ministry will in the coming days another group of strategic projects for implementation after completing their studies and designs in order to solve much of the problem of the lack of services.

    The plan this year include the continued implementation of the assigned projects and new projects in the sectors of water and sanitation, municipal services and urban planning, including continued implementation of 64 water project and allocate 14 new projects for implementation and to continue to implement 48 projects of sanitation and referred 25 new projects and continue to implement 24 projects in the area of municipal services and referral of new and continuing 55 projects implement 3 projects in the field of urban planning.

    The Ministry is working on a strategic plan for the implementation of solid infrastructure, especially in the field of water and sanitation projects in accordance with a well thought out plan and database only as needed and for the population of each province in particular, a number of provinces that didn't take due to proportion of population projects by the Ministry study showed a clear disadvantage and deficiency in services and other saturated projects this is due to the security conditions in the country over the past years.

    He said the Ministry took over the budget through the allocation of considerable importance in the implementation of infrastructure projects is the base Foundation for achieving real development in the country, pointing out that the Ministry distributed the customizations this year between the Chambers by 900 billion dinars to the Directorate General of water and approximately 600 billion dinars for the Directorate-General for waterways, in addition to allocate 150 billion dinars to the General Directorate of municipalities and 10 billion To the Directorate General of urban planning.

    The Ministry set up a situation room to follow up the implementation of projects and stages of the transmission and exchange of budget implementation in conjunction with the formation of task forces in the provinces to pursue, together with the Development Department to review the contracts entered into by the Department contains the first two divisions following the Declaration phase of the contract of assignment and the second sequence of stages of the implementation of the contract and the receipt of corporate projects implemented and extended maintenance and implementation stages by activating work with municipal departments in the provinces.

    Municipalities Minister engineer Adel mhodr said in an earlier statement (sourcing Centre for the Iraqi media network) $ 1 trillion and 770 billion dinars for the Ministry's budget this year.
