Iraq’s Ambassador to Sofia meets Bulgarian official over mutual cooperation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Bulgaria Mr. Asaad al-Samarrai met with the Bulgarian Minister of Transport and Communications Mr. Daniel Papazov to discuss many issues. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the transport, trade and tourism sectors between the two countries.”
“The ambassador expressed the importance of strengthening relations between the ministries of transport in both countries and the reactivation of tourism in addition to the contribution of Bulgarian companies to enter the Iraqi market, especially that there is an Iraqi desire to cooperate with Bulgarian companies,” the statement continued. “On his part, the Bulgarian minister stressed that the relationship with Iraq is a strategic relation and that his government gives special importance to the activation of this relations, especially in the field of transport,” the statement concluded.
