Japanese stocks closed almost stable in choppy trade on Wednesday, as investors were reluctant to have large positions in light of geopolitical tensions influenced by sentiment.
The benchmark Nikkei rose for major Japanese companies contributed 0.07 percent to 18432.20 points after fluctuation between the ups and downs during the session.
The index, the broader Topix 0.01 percent to 1471.42 points. Cursor-Jah.ba.aks Nikkei 400 was down 0.1 percent to 13174.08 points.
The tension has heightened between the United States and North Korea worried investors while heading attention to Europe as well as sterling rose after Prime Minister called on Theresa May to early elections on the eighth of June in a bid to boost her party's control such as the British secession negotiations.
The uneven performance of the shares of export companies as Toyota Motor Corp fell 1.1 percent and down Honda Motor shares rose 1.2 percent, while Panasonic shares 0.7 percent. Finished / 25
