[rtl]Istanbul / NINA / The value of Turkey's exports to Arab countries amounted to 39 billion and 904 million dollars during the first ten months of this year, and Iraq tops the Arab countries in the value of imports.

According to the statement of the Turkish General Trade System "GTS" issued today, exports to Arab countries grew by 7.7 percent in 10 months of 2024, compared to the same period last year.

The value of Turkey's total exports reached 216 billion and 383 million dollars during the first ten months of this year, and exports to Arab countries accounted for 18.4 percent of them.

Iraq topped the list of countries importing the most from Turkey, with 10 billion and 766 million dollars.

The UAE came second with 6 billion and 842 million dollars, then Egypt with 3 billion and 416 million dollars, Saudi Arabia with 3 billion and 264 million dollars, and Morocco with 2 billion and 799 million dollars.

In terms of products, grains, legumes, oil seeds and their derivatives ranked first in Turkish exports to Iraq, with about $2.5 billion, followed by chemicals and their products with a value of $1.2 billion.

The jewelry sector ranked first in Turkish exports to the UAE with about $3.9 billion, followed by chemicals and their products with a value of $901 million.
