    The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Turkish air strikes targeting border areas in Syria and Iraq have increased tensions in the region, calling them "unacceptable."
    A statement issued by the ministry said that Ankara's actions are of concern to Moscow, because the talk is about operations carried out by the Turkish military against Kurdish forces that are actually resisting terrorist groups on the ground, and "in the circumstances where the war on terror in Iraq and Syria is far from over , So these actions do not contribute clearly to the collection of efforts aimed at countering terrorism, and increase the situation of tension. "
    The statement added that the concern is that the Turkish strikes targeted the territory of two sovereign states, bypassing their legitimate governments, stressing: "We consider such operations unacceptable and incompatible with the basic principles of relations between States."
    The ministry called on all sides to exercise restraint, saying: "It is important to be politically prudent and focus on the most urgent task today, namely to confront the terrorist internationalization of Ba'asy, al-Ansar and other groups of this kind."
    The Turkish army announced that its warplane launched early Tuesday raids on sites of the PKK and its affiliated organizations in Jabal Sinjar in northern Iraq and Mount Karajukh in northeastern Syria.
    The army claimed that the areas targeted by the raids turned into "hideouts of terrorism", to launch terrorist attacks causing the killing and wounding of Turkish civilians, soldiers and security personnel.
    In a separate statement issued later, the Turkish army announced the killing of 70 Kurdish militants from the raids.
    The statement came at a time when the forces of the "Peshmerga" Kurdish, which was bombed by Turkey in Iraq, the killing of 5 elements of the process.
