    Sheikh Mohammed: Turkish President approach contrary to international norms and conventions

    He said a member of the Presidency of the Council of Representatives Sheikh Hamoudi, the excesses of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued on Iraq 's sovereignty, as a «public contempt for international norms and laws of good neighborliness and the principles».
    He pointed Hamoudi during his meeting with the Indian ambassador to Iraq, Pradeep Singh, noted that «there is an Iraqi consensus to condemn the Turkish president 's policy on the country, demanding popular and formal ongoing Arab and international combined standing responsibility with the Iraqi government and people and put an end to the continuing affect of Erdogan« noting that «President Turkey is trying to stimulate national sentiment among the citizens of his country and shows like the only man defending their interests ».
    The statement said that Hamoudi discussed with the Indian ambassador, the agreement on the priority investment between the two countries, especially through Basra , what witnessed in the province of an attractive environment for investors and businessmen in general , in addition to the rest of the provinces, calling on the media and academic figures of the Indian presence inside Iraq and highlight the real situation of the country to the world .
    Singh expressed his turn, expressed his country 's aspiration for a new phase with Iraq is witnessing the signing of agreements in the field of health, trade, agriculture and training.
    For his part, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Aram Sheikh Mohammed, that «Erdogan violates and contradicts calls him, especially in regard to his claims concerning respect for the sovereignty of Turkey 's neighbors, noting that this contradiction exists in his words always».
