[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of serving the citizens of Baghdad province.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim stressed the necessity of serving the citizens if Baghdad and the importance of meeting them with the officials.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“Hakim met with the Deputy Governor of Baghdad province, Jasim al-Bakhati, at his office in Baghdad where the latter appreciated Hakim’s advices, considering them as the best means to serve the citizens of Baghdad,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
