[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohammed al-Lakash, of the Citizen bloc described the rejection of the Federal Court to the law of limiting the terms of the three presidencies as “Shameful to the FC.”[/ltr]
[ltr]Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Rejecting the law was expected and it is shame on the FC because it is legal and constitutional but there is a political side that interferes in this law.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“We expected the rejection to this law,” he added, noting that “We think the FC is dead and terminated because the Iraqi people do not trust it anymore.”[/ltr]
[ltr]He called “The parliament to endorse the new law draft of the FC where it should accept the consequences if it will not be endorsed.”[/ltr]
[ltr]He expected “The FC to reject the law draft of amending the Authorities of the Local Governments for some known reasons.”[/ltr]
