The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that "the foreign minister will continue his efforts to reduce tension in the Middle East, through meetings and telephone discussions with the leaders of the region and the Gulf."
It will represent the Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan, the United States of the Organization of American States meeting, which runs from Monday to Wednesday in Cancun, Mexico.
