    Baghdad Mawazine News
The Financial Times ran an article in which it saw the battle in eastern Syria as a threat to a military confrontation between the United States, Russia and Iran.
The fears of the confrontation increased after the United States dropped a Syrian plane, which it said was launching raids near US-backed forces near Raqqa, the Financial Times said.
On the same day, Iran launched, for the first time, ballistic missiles in Syria, which it said targeted sites belonging to the organization Daqash, but according to the newspaper, a show of strength also and a message addressed to the United States and Saudi rivals in the region.
The newspaper reports analysts' opinion that military escalation is inevitable and that the forces in Syria are now racing to fill the vacuum left by the organization calling the terrorist east of Syria.
The most important areas to be contested by the various factions are the city of Raqqa, the capital of terrorists, and the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The newspaper quoted a diplomat in the region as saying that the United States is seeking to control the groups that support it on the highway connecting Baghdad and Damascus, in order to limit the impact of Iran, and control other areas used in the negotiations on the future of Syria.
Iran is anxious to secure a corridor linking Iran with Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, where its ally is Hezbollah
