Interpol announces list of 173 terrorists threatening Europe

    Baghdad Mawazine News
INTERPOL has announced a list of 173 terrorists from Da'ish who are believed to have been trained to carry out attacks in Europe in retaliation for the organization's defeats in the Middle East.
Interpol received information gathered by US intelligence agencies in Iraq and Syria that helped identify the names of dozens suspected of planning attacks in Europe, the Guardian reported.
Many European countries believe that with a resurgent decline in Iraq and Syria, the risk of militant attacks on the continent is increasing, especially as some European militants return from conflict zones in the Middle East.
Although there is no evidence that any of the listed individuals have entered Europe, fears of a possible return of European militants have prompted Interpol to warn the continent.
According to the International Police, the extremists on the list "may have received training to manufacture explosive devices and are believed to be able to travel across countries to participate in terrorist activities."
According to the newspaper, it was possible to identify the suspects through documents found in hiding places in Iraq and Syria, which shows that these people may be ready to carry out suicide attacks.
The list includes the names of each of the suspects, the date of his recruitment to the ranks of the Daash, and the last address of his possible residence, including the mosque where he was praying, in addition to the mother's name and any pictures available.
According to UN estimates, there were 20,000 foreign militants in Iraq and Syria in 2015, including 4,000 from Europe, yet there was no special list including those militants, including those born in the Middle East, identifying them as potential executors of suicide attacks.
It is noteworthy that several European cities have witnessed during the past few years, bloody attacks in which dozens were killed, announced an organization calling for its responsibility.
