Parliamentary: Ministry of Transport sold the project rehabilitation of Trebil port of $ 2 million

A member of the Committee on "Economy and Investment Parliamentary" Ali al-Maliki on Monday, the marginalization of the role of his committee to participate in the project rehabilitation of Trebil port, which will be opened soon, revealing the sale of the project by the Ministry of Transport to investors of $ 2 million.
Maliki said in a statement to «Journal News» that his committee was not informed about the project despite the near opening of the port.
He added that "there is a stampede between the committees in taking the lead in the adoption of the project," stressing that "the project was sold by the Ministry of Transport to investors of $ 2 million."
The port, which has been the gateway to traffic and trade between Iraq and Jordan, has been closed since he imposed his control of the international road in the province in mid-2014 and restored Iraqi forces control of the region in May.
