Qatar's besieged states announced on Sunday their willingness to hold talks with Doha on condition that they meet their 13 demands.

A statement issued by the foreign ministers' meeting of the four countries besieged by the State of Qatar in Manama said it was ready for dialogue with Qatar, but the countries of the blockade did not introduce new measures against Doha.

"The meeting reaffirmed the six principles issued at the four ministers' meeting in Cairo," Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed al-Khalifa said in the statement.

The ministers stressed in the statement the readiness of the countries of the blockade to dialogue with Qatar provided that they respond to the 13 demands made by the countries, and stressed the importance of implementing the Riyadh Agreement in 2013 and 2014.

The statement said that the four foreign ministers reviewed the latest developments and contacts at the regional and international level on the Qatar crisis and that the meeting was aimed at strengthening the positions among the four countries.

The statement stressed that all measures taken by the embargo countries are sovereign measures against what he called the negative and aggressive policies of the State of Qatar, according to the statement.

The statement also praised the mediation of the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and condemned what he called the disruption of Qatar for the Hajj season and praised the facilities offered by Saudi Arabia in this context.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry had announced earlier that the meeting will discuss the extent of Doha's commitment to stop supporting what it called terrorism and the negative interference in the affairs of the four countries.

The meeting is held amidst US demands to accelerate the settlement of the Gulf crisis, and assurances by Doha that it is ready for dialogue in accordance with the principle of respect for sovereignty.

The Bahraini foreign ministry said on its website that the meeting comes within the framework of continuous consultation and joint coordination on the ongoing efforts to stop what it said is the support of the State of Qatar for extremism and terrorism, to stop interfering in the internal affairs of the countries of the region, "He said.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the foreign ministers of the four countries will meet Saturday and Sunday in Manama, but the Bahraini statement returned today to confirm the meeting tomorrow without reference to the Egyptian statement.

A previous meeting of the foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in Cairo resulted in warnings to Doha, without adopting clear steps against them, and then reduced the list of 13 demands to six principles and announced the continuation of measures against Doha.
