Oil prices rise after US inventory falls

Oil prices rose after the US Energy Information Administration showed a decline in crude stocks in the country.
By 1325 GMT, global crude futures were trading at $ 52.71 a barrel, up 0.67% or 35 cents.
US light sweet crude futures rose 0.54%, or 27 cents, to $ 49.86.
US oil data released on Wednesday showed oil stocks fell by 1.5 million barrels in the week ending July 28 to 481.9 million barrels.
US gasoline inventories fell by 2.5 million barrels last week.
