The Syrian news agency SANA reported that on Thursday the Syrian forces, in cooperation with the Lebanese Hezbollah, continued to tighten their grip on a group of armed militants in the southern axis of the western penileum of Qalamoun.
The Syrian army and Hezbollah factions took control of the highlands of Wadi al-Maghara, the small valley of the cave and the illegal Ras al-shahut crossing, which runs from the village of Qara to the groves of the Lebanese town of Arsal.
The Central Military Information Cell also published a recording showing the progress of the Syrian forces and Hezbollah elements at the Mira crossing in the same area.
