Syria: The first truckload of foodstuffs reaches Deir Ezzor after breaking the siege

A convoy carrying foodstuffs by land to Deir al-Zour arrived in the east of Syria on Thursday, the first since the Syrian army broke into an imposed blockade imposed by the terrorist organization Da'ash since early 2015.
"More than 40 buses have arrived in Deir al-Zour, loaded with foodstuffs, food supplies and basic necessities for the citizens," Syrian television said in an urgent tape.
He explained that "the convoy consisting of forty trucks loaded with" miscellaneous foodstuffs, and will be sold at nominal prices "of the population.
This convoy is the first to reach the city on land after the army units supported by the Russian Tuesday to open a road to the west of Deir al-Zour after breaking the siege imposed by the organization "Daash" at the base of Brigade 137.
