The Ambassadors of six countries - Japan, China, South Korea, India, Russia and Indonesia - have announced their readiness to participate in the reconstruction of Iraq and expand trade exchange with it.
"We discussed with the members of the House of Representatives the experiences of our countries to exchange experiences with Iraq, and we as partners and friends of Iraq in the fight against terrorism will participate in its reconstruction," said Chen Weiqing, the Chinese ambassador to Iraq.
The Chinese ambassador stressed the readiness of their country, "to provide assistance to Iraq and expand trade and industrial exchange with him."
During a press conference, Mohammad Abed Rabbo, a member of the foreign relations committee, called on the six countries' companies to invest in his country. "Iraq has all the investment components such as oil, industry and agriculture," he said.
Abed Rabbo pointed out that "a previous meeting with the ambassadors of these countries, to transfer their experience to his country," especially as some of these countries have gone through wars and conditions similar to what happened to Iraq. "
