    Ambassadors of six countries - Japan, China, South Korea, India, Russia and Indonesia - announced their country's willingness to participate in the reconstruction of Iraq and expand trade exchange with it.

    "We discussed with the members of the Iraqi House of Representatives the experiences of our countries to exchange experiences with Iraq, and we as partners and friends of Iraq in the fight against terrorism will participate in its reconstruction," Chen Weiqing, the Chinese ambassador to Iraq, told a news conference held at the parliament building with the ambassadors of the five other industrialized countries. .

    The Chinese ambassador stressed his country's readiness to provide assistance to Iraq and expand trade and industrial exchange with him.

    The Iraqi economy has shrunk since the overthrow of former President Saddam Hussein, and the pace of production of crude oil, which is the primary source of revenue.

    Baghdad is now struggling to diversify its sources of income away from oil to boost its financial resources and match them with current expenditures, dominated by security and reconstruction.

    A member of the Foreign Relations Committee of Iraq, «Mohammed Abd Rabbo», during the press conference, the companies of the six countries to invest in his country, adding that Iraq has all the investment components such as oil, industry and agriculture.

    He pointed out «Abd Rabbo» to hold a previous meeting with the ambassadors of these countries, to transfer their experience to his country, especially as some of these countries went through wars and conditions similar to what passed by Iraq.

    The organization of the «Islamic state has taken over a third of the territory of Iraq, but the Iraqi forces were able to restore the majority of those territories of his control.

    Iraq demands international support for the reconstruction of its devastated cities from military operations.

    The Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said last month that his country plans to host an international conference next year for donors to support Iraq, in cooperation and coordination with Baghdad and the international community.

    $ 100 billion
    The US Monitor published a report last August estimated the cost of reconstruction of Iraqi cities and areas that have been restored from the Islamic state by about 100 billion US dollars.

    World Bank experts said reconstruction programs in Iraq would be a lucrative and attractive job market for major construction companies in the world.

    According to the newspaper, these experts have confirmed that Iraq will be the largest market for reconstruction in the world, starting in 2018, which will benefit primarily Turkish construction companies.

    Earlier, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) confirmed that it would participate extensively in the reconstruction of war-torn cities in Iraq. The government of Baghdad began negotiations with the Bank last May to launch the program. Will be launched, giving priority to road projects and infrastructure of state utilities, which have been almost completely subverted.
