Trump recognizes Twitter for winning the presidency

US President Donald Trump defended his use of social media, especially Twitter, saying he might not have reached the White House.
In an interview broadcast on Fox Business Sunday, Trump said he could go beyond what he saw as unfair media coverage by speaking directly.
When someone says something about me, I can move quickly and take care of it. Otherwise I will never be able to talk.
"Writing tweets like typewriters ... when you write them is instantaneous," he said, describing his accounts on social media Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as "a huge platform."
Republican leaders often urged Trump to avoid or minimize tweets, and personally acknowledged that some friends suggested that he not use social media.
Trump usually attacks Twitter, especially on the media and political opponents, and publishes his tweets in the early morning or late in the evening. Sometimes, his tweets contain inaccuracies and personal attacks.
Earlier, former US Secretary of State John Kerry said Donald Trump had created a destructive atmosphere of "chaos politics" with his tweets to pass political declarations and sharp remarks.
"I think it is very difficult to hold the post of foreign minister when the president publicly undermines our position, as he did," Kerry said.
