Moody's warned on Tuesday that renewed political vacuum in Lebanon after the resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Saturday could hurt the country's credit rating.
"Any loss of confidence in the banking system or in the stability of Lebanese institutions, leading to a sharp slowdown in private sector deposit flows or a clear outflow of funds would have a negative credit effect," she said in an e-mail note.
