    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said yesterday that parliamentary elections should be held on schedule, rejecting any talk of postponing them. He reiterated his commitment to return all displaced people. He pointed to the announcement of the final victory on the Dahesh after the completion of the disinfection in Anbar island. "The need to return the displaced as soon as possible, especially in the near future, will witness the holding of the parliamentary elections, which requires the provision of all the requirements to ensure their return," the prime minister said. At the same time, he stressed that "the next elections will be held on schedule and will not allow postponement." Abadi added that "Iraq managed to eliminate a military advocate but the challenges ahead will focus on the intelligence effort to eliminate it intellectually and not allow him to reorganize and the formation of terrorist cells."
    He pointed out that "our forces are still carrying out the clean-up and there is a process began to survey the island in western Anbar to chase remnants of the Daash, and soon we will be fully cleared and officially announce the end of the Dahesh in the country." 
    On the classification of the US Congress to some of the factions of the group as terrorist organizations, Abadi said that "the timing and wrong procedure and we follow through our embassy in Washington and we seek not to allow Congress to go to this classification," stressing that "can not be considered a murderer of a terrorist organization." 
    On the appeal of the Federal Court of constitutional referendum of the region, the Prime Minister called on the Kurdistan region to "respect the decisions of the judiciary and the delivery to the Constitution and cooperation with Baghdad in the imposition of federal authorities in the disputed areas." He pointed out that "
