British secret training of the Saudi coalition forces against Yemen

    BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
The British newspaper The Daily Mail reported on Sunday the secret training of British troops to the Saudi-led Arab forces led by Saudi Arabia against Yemen.
The newspaper said in its report, "The Journal News", "The training is confidential, after the British army transmitted several pictures illustrating military exercises in Yemen, on its website by mistake. The photos showed the presence of 50 British soldiers and two Scottish national soldiers.
"Britain's training in Yemen is one of Britain's shameful forms of complicity with Saudi Arabia," the paper quoted former development minister and British Conservative Party member Andrew John Mitchell as saying. "Britain should be justified in its participation in Saudi violence against the people of Yemen." While other diplomats called on the government to provide transparency on its secret military training.
The Saudi war on Yemen has killed tens of thousands of people, wounded millions of children with cholera and anorexia, while 80 percent of Yemen's population is starving.
At the end of its report, British military sales to Saudi Arabia reached 1.1 billion pounds in the first six months of 2017.
