Russian interest in strengthening cooperation with China and India within the framework of the Tri-RIC
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Moscow looks forward to strengthening cooperation within the framework of Russia, India and China (RIC).
"We confirm with satisfaction that the RIC formula will become one of the driving forces of regional efforts to strengthen the structure of international relations in the Asia-Pacific region, which should be based on Principles of comprehensive, equal and indivisible security ".
Lavrov added that Russia looks forward to further strengthening multi-faceted cooperation within the framework of the "trilateral", including with a view to promoting international common approaches to ensuring regional stability and sustainable development.
The Russian minister stressed Moscow's firm interest in strengthening the coordination of foreign policies on the main international platforms, especially the United Nations, the G20, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Brix Group.
