The parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the draft federal budget law to the government depends on its recommendations and the results of the government's response to the amendments requested by the political blocs.
The committee member Sarhan Sliveni said in a press statement that "the draft federal budget bill 2018 to the government depends on the study of the parliamentary financial committee and then make recommendations to the Presidency of the House of Representatives for the purpose of returning to the government or continue reading in the regular sessions of the next legislative term, Pointing out that "the Finance Committee commissioned to study and discuss the budget law and submit amendments requested by some blocks to the government, and then inform the House of Representatives government response."
He added that "the date of voting on the final draft of the general budget depends on the submission of an official report to the Presidency of Parliament by the Finance Committee parliamentary overall amendments approved by the government to be included in the budget," noting that "the budget law allows the government to restore it from Parliament before being put to the vote Parliament.
