[ltr]A senior Saudi writer has reported a number of arrests of Saudi princes after a series of arrests of former princes, former ministers and businessmen led by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.[/ltr]
[ltr]According to the Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi, the arrest of a number of princes came because of "criticism of a number of issues."[/ltr]
[ltr]He pointed out that the arrests of princes came despite the fact that "some of them were chanting slogans calling for cracking down on anyone who criticizes the state, and one of them was hostile to the Arab Spring and calls for the eradication of its activists."[/ltr]
[ltr]The Khashoggi revealed that the people of Buraidah demanded during a petition for war on corruption against princes who accused them of illegally possessing public interests and land of the state.[/ltr]
