Reveal 10 steps for the American diplomatic recognition of the "Eastern Euphrates River Region"

Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that the American-led coalition in the coming period will carry out ten military, political and diplomatic steps towards the areas east of the Euphrates River, which is controlled by Syria's democratic forces. It includes diplomatic and political recognition of the special status of this area, which covers an area of 28,000 square kilometers Three times the size of Lebanon.
In May, Washington and Moscow agreed that the Euphrates River would be a dividing line between the eastern regions of the river, controlled by Syria's democratic forces, which form the main protection units of the Kurdish people, and the western Euphrates areas under the control of the Syrian regime.
The report quoted a Western official as saying that the US administration is in the process of adopting a new strategy for Syria and that US institutions have presented several options based on the findings of US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's meeting with his 18 opposition allies in New York at the end of last year. Syria's political transition, and Washington's perceptions of the political solution in Syria in general, and the conditions for the provision of unity.
The official said the first concrete sign of new US direction came from US Defense Secretary Jim Matisse when he said Washington would send diplomats to areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces to work alongside military experts.
According to the information, the US steps include ten elements, first of which increased military support to Syria's democratic forces; President Trump signed in mid-last month an executive decision to continue to arm these forces and raise the number of 25 to 30 thousand, ignoring his promise to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to stop Arming the Kurds and withdrawing heavy weapons from them after the defeat of "Dahesh".
Second: Training Syria's democratic forces with changing its role to become a regular army that maintains stability after the liberation of "Dahesh", in addition to the training of police and security forces in these areas where the cells of the "Dahesh" and includes about three thousand elements.
Third: Strengthening the local civil councils that govern the liberated areas of "Dahesh", and the Council of tenderness and class within the future vision of these areas.
Fourth: Reconstruction through the international alliance to provide financial and human resources for the reconstruction of destroyed cities. In this context, Al-Rigga is referred to Las Vegas East.
Fifth: Strengthening the services and infrastructure, in addition to benefiting from existing natural resources, including major sources of oil, gas, agriculture and water. Syria's democratic forces control the most important oil and gas fields and the largest dams in Syria.
Sixth: Training of governmental and judicial bodies. French government spokesman Benjamin Grevo said on Thursday that French extremists arrested in western Kurdistan would be tried there if "judicial institutions are able to ensure a fair trial" and "respect for the rights of the defense."
Seventh: to provide air protection for these areas, and to maintain military bases, which includes five bases east of the Euphrates River, which employs about two thousand soldiers and an American expert, and set up joint operating rooms with the Syrian democratic forces and diplomatic recognition in these areas. Experts are working to develop Rumailan airport and another military base to receive US diplomats in the coming weeks.
Eighth: Washington's pressure on the participation of representatives of the Syrian democratic forces and the political body in the political process in Geneva under the auspices of the United Nations, despite Ankara's reservations, which opposes the role of the People's Protection Units and its political arm the Democratic Union any political role.
Ninth: Supporting the ongoing electoral process in the Northern Federations. It was scheduled to hold parliamentary elections on 19 this month, but a Kurdish official said yesterday that the elections were postponed to a later date, pointing out contacts are underway to form institutions in the federal regions of the north, including government, ministries, parliament and embassies.
Tenth: Provide military, political and diplomatic support for the "Euphrates River East Region" and provide protection for the Afrin and Manbij region, where Syria's democratic forces are deployed and Russia establishes military centers and common rooms.
