    Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alak, on Sunday, a meeting to resolve the matters of control of the import of goods and goods across the country's ports.


    "The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alak presided over a meeting to resolve matters relating to the control of the importation of goods and goods through all the ports of the country," a statement from the Cabinet Secretariat said. "The meeting was attended by members of the Diwaniyah Commission 39 to monitor the import of goods consisting of ministries of transport, Health, agriculture and interior, in addition to the Prime Minister's Office and the Secretariat of the Civil Crisis Management Cell. " 

    The statement added that "the meeting concluded the proposal to link the border crossings with the optical cable network, consolidate the data of all border ports to eliminate the fraud of import licenses, eliminate the process of bypassing import licenses, and reactivate the random audit by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, and work to include all Imports of conformity certificates or examination reports to eliminate the manipulations practiced by some loyalists and traders. "


    He added that "the meeting dealt with the problem of tax evasion, the mechanism of operation of electronic systems to prevent it, and how to control the shipment of air, stressing the high revenues of the port of Safwan border by 400% last year because of the procedures followed by the Commission, and control of most of the fraud and manipulation and tax evasion.
