Egyptian Attorney General Nabil Sadiq has opened an investigation into the New York Times leaks about a telephone conversation between a security officer and broadcasters on television channels, the Middle East News Agency reported.
The news agency quoted the Egyptian intelligence officer, Ashraf al-Khouli, as instructing a group of Egyptian journalists, saying: I informed you of the Egyptian national security approach. What is the benefit of declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel? "
