Shabandar denies having a page on Facebook aimed at striking the Iraqi economy

The prominent Iraqi politician, Izzat Shabandar, denied having a page on the most popular social networking site Facebook under the title "Izzat Shabandar 2018" aimed at hitting the Iraqi economy and keeping foreign investors from working in Iraq.
"We repeat that we have only one page and we are not responsible for anything that is published on the counterfeit page (Izzat Shabandar 2018), and we do not know who is on it and are looking for them to be held accountable," Shabandar said in a leaflet on his official Facebook page.
"We ask everyone not to participate in the publication and support of anything that is published on this counterfeit page and reported as much as possible."
He pointed out that "this attack is part of the campaign of dirty electronic armies, which began to target the national voice sincere and courageous in revealing the truth of what has been happening since 2003 until now."
Many local and international organizations criticized the targeting of the Iraqi economy by spreading rumors to intimidate citizens after the end of the stage of urging and not to bring international companies to work in Iraq and participate in its reconstruction.
