Disclosure of UAE involvement in a campaign against Qatar in America

NBC News reported that a data firm that helped Donald Trump win the 2016 presidential election was involved in spreading negative information about Qatar as part of a propaganda campaign launched by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The company, named Cambridge Analytica, acknowledged in its documents to the US Department of Justice (Cambridge Analytica) that it received $ 333,000 from the UAE to launch a 2017 social media campaign linking Qataris to terrorism.
According to the NBC News report, the Trump administration last June supported the "hostile attitude" of Saudi Arabia and the UAE against Qatar and the two countries' decision to sever diplomatic relations.
And the Cambridge Analytica subsidiary of SCL Financial Limited, a company that has attracted the attention of investigators of the special prosecutor investigating allegations of Russia's intervention in the recent US presidential election.
The contract between SCL Ltd. and the National Media Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), worth $ 333,000, included the design of multiple ads and their publication on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social networking sites, with the name "Boycottqatar # ) Links Qatar with terrorism.
The network said that SCL Ltd. had broadcast negative announcements about Qatar during the United Nations General Assembly in September.
