[rtl]The US military bases will remain in Iraq under an agreement with the Iraqi government, a member of the parliamentary security and defense committee said on Saturday.[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Dhlami said in a statement to "Trend Press" that the Americans regret their withdrawal from Iraq in the past and say it frankly, indicating that their military bases will remain inside Iraq after an agreement with the Iraqi government in this regard.[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Dhlami pointed out that no foreign forces or military bases can remain without the approval of the Iraqi government, pointing out that the Americans have agendas and special interests to extend their influence in Iraq and have dealt with this issue in practice to maintain their military bases in Iraq.[/rtl]

[rtl]On the recent US bombing in Ramadi, west of Al-Anbar, al-Dhalimi said it was normal for US planes to go out to deal with their own nighttime targets without coordination with the Joint Operations Command, stressing that this could not be done without the knowledge of the Iraqi government.[/rtl]
