The Parliamentary Committee of the Regions and Governorates said on Tuesday that the House of Representatives will not be able to vote on the Law on the Ownership of Slums and Agricultural Land, pointing out that there are those who plan to obtain the votes after promising them to own these lands and include their law on the parliament's agenda.
A member of the committee, MP Mohammed Osman said in a statement to the "Information" / that "the law of the ownership of agricultural land and slums under the jurisdiction of the Committee on Agriculture parliamentary," adding that "land ownership needs approvals by the ministries and departments concerned, which can not be achieved at the present time" .
Othman added that "some MPs are seeking to include the law mentioned on the agenda of the parliament and vote on it for electoral gains after they promised their public land ownership and thus get their votes." Ending / 25 n
