    BAGHDAD - 
    The deputy of the Union of Forces Raad Dahlaki, on Sunday, the intention of Sunni political parties to submit a request for the inclusion of mixed areas of international and US protection during the upcoming elections, describing Washington as "the official sponsor of the political process" in Iraq. 
    "The Sunni political blocs find themselves facing great challenges after marking interventions by some political parties competing in mixed areas under the threat of arms to influence our public," Dahlaki said in a statement. 
    He added that "the Union of forces will resort to the United Nations and the US side to protect and secure those areas during the upcoming elections to prevent any political impact." 
    He said Dahlaki that "the reservation of some on the request for US protection is surprising," adding that "the American side is the official sponsor of the political process and all the blocks without discrimination."
    The spokesman for the so-called "Arab Nineveh tribes," Muzahim al-Hewitt revealed earlier the arrival of an American force charged with "protecting" the upcoming elections to Nineveh and Arbil al-Anbar, indicating that these forces will be deployed in the Nineveh Plain and disputed areas. Ending / 25 d
