Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, pointed out “The displacing process taking place in Diyala province is merely political case to achieve certain agendas.”
Diyala witnessed displacing dozens of families due to sectarian violence recently.
A statement by Mutleg’s office received by IraqiNews.com quoted Mutleg as saying, during a national conference held in Kadhimiya city under the patronage of the Clergyman, Hussien al-Sadr, “I call the clergymen in Diyala and all over Iraq to say for the politicians that practices like displacing Iraqis especially in Diyala are not among our moral codes.”
“He called the Iraqis to consolidate their unity to avoid the difficulties that face Iraq,” the statement added.
“For his part, Sadr expressed his appreciation for Mutleg’s patriotic stances and his calls to neglect violence,” the statement concluded.
