    "There is no country in the world that enjoys independence like the Iranian people," the leader of the Islamic revolution, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Khamenei, said Wednesday. 
    Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei  in a speech during the meeting segments of thepeople on the campus of Imam Reza (AS) on the occasion of the Iranian New Year  gave  blessings on theoccasion of the New Year festival of Nowruz, and condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali al- Hadi (AS) , adding that this  year Fortieth the triumph of the Revolution Islam has attracted the hearts of a huge gathering of the people of the region during these 40 years.  
    His eminence continued to govern in Iran during these forty years governments based on the views of people and in different directions; it was a certain direction at one time and then contrary to the previous trend, popular sovereignty entrenched in the country.
    His Eminence pointed out in this speech that there are great potentials and energies in the country that have not yet been utilized. He said that if the benefit is used, the situation of the country will be improved. The obstacles to benefiting from these possibilities should be studied to see what has led to These possibilities.
    "There is no country in the world that enjoys independence, like the Iranian people. All the peoples of the world have some form of reserve and vigilance before the great powers. Freedom has been provided in Iran. Today there is freedom of thought, expression and choice in Iran. The government's thinking is that the people who are not affected by any people are the Iranian people.
    The leader of the Islamic revolution noted that freedom all over the world has specific frameworks, saying that the framework of freedom in Iran is the constitution and the laws of the country that stemmed from Islamic law.
    His Eminence referred to the concept of democracy, saying that elections in Iran are among the most unequal elections in the world. The Iranian people are not ashamed of others; that is, "we can."
    The leader of the Islamic Revolution called for the establishment of religion and the application of Sharia in the country, saying that this was implemented by the absence of the Guardian Council and that the performance and work within 40 years with regard to the main slogans of the Islamic Revolution is the performance and work acceptable and good.
    His Eminence pointed out that the performance in terms of security, stability, scientific infrastructure and infrastructure of the country was a good performance, saying, if we can take advantage of all the energies of the country through the right planning will increase the progress of the country.

    "The American plan to create evil and unjust groups as a pretext to occupy the minds of the people and keep them away from the Zionist entity, and to have the opportunity to think about the Zionist entity, we have managed, God willing, to thwart this plan."

    "Any help on the issues of the region has been made through very logical calculations. We have been able to do so and have succeeded with the help of God; later it is the same thing, to aim at interfering in the affairs of states.
    "Without a doubt, America will not achieve its goals in the region, and we will achieve our goal, God willing," he said.
