    BAGHDAD / The Parliamentary Integrity Committee announced on Monday that it had submitted "official documents" to the Ministries of Dunkil and Interior, indicating that those documents "confirm the failure and corruption" of the company charged with protecting the Baghdad International Airport, while the Committee demanded the company to return 40 million dollars to the state treasury , Accused "influential parties" to stand behind the extension of the company's contract for three months.
    The spokesman of the Committee, MP Adel Nuri said in a statement received by "the eye of Iraq News," that "corruption has spread in all facilities of the Iraqi state and unfortunately there are influential parties in the federal government behind the contract of the security company charged with protecting the airport," noting that "there are reports and official documents lifted To the ministries of interior and transport confirm the corruption and failure of the company G4s and must terminate its work from Baghdad airport service because of the utmost importance and seriousness.
    He added that "the Civil Aviation Authority refused yesterday to receive an inspection committee by the Directorate of dogs K9 police in the Ministry of the Interior to inspect the airport in Baghdad and was prevented entry of the Commission to conduct its work on the pretext of flimsy and unacceptable."
    He pointed out that "it is the duty of the regulatory authorities to carry out the element of surprise and raid the site until the shortcomings are realized as it is known." He added that "what the Civil Aviation Authority has done is contrary to law and customs, and therefore we demand that officials of the Ministry of Transport accountable those responsible."
    He pointed out that "there are wasted funds up to $ 40 million because of non-implementation of the terms of the contract with the Ministry of Transport," stressing that "the return of funds to the treasury of the state and the replacement of sonar equipment dilapidated."
    He pointed out that "security tests were carried out and many prohibited items were transferred to sensitive areas of the airport, including a series of terrorist elements to the airport, firing shots at an UAE aircraft and injuring one of the passengers." The Ministry of Transport did not take any measures against those who failed in this matter, To "accounting violators and sent to the judiciary and the termination of this company's file and replace."
