The Ministry of Planning announced on Tuesday that the next five-year plan 2018-2022 aims to complete projects estimated at about 700 thousand housing units in all provinces, except the Kurdistan region.
The ministry revealed in a statement, received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, the next five-year plan for the years 2018-2022, which aims to achieve economic growth rates 7% by 2022, without disclosing the reason for the exclusion of Kurdistan from the next plan.
"The state is targeting in this plan, investments of 220.6 trillion dinars (185.2 billion dollars), over the next five years, where government investments accounted for 60%
," he said, adding that "the five-year plan on the housing sector, also aimed at the establishment of 100 thousand Housing unit suitable for the requirements of insurance return of displaced persons and slums and transgressors, "pointing out that" the next five years, witnessing the provision of 50%, of mortgage financing of private sector investment required to cover the housing deficit.
