The former US ambassador to Syria, Robert Ford, has exploded a resounding surprise about the information the CIA possesses about the whereabouts of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The "Ford" - according to the network "CNN": "The CIA does not know where Bashar Assad."
He stressed that the air strike would be only a message to stop the use of chemical weapons.
"The air strikes will be a message to (Assad) that America's decision is decisive and that it is not kidding, and forcing him to think more than once before using chemical weapons again."
After a meeting with senior advisers and military commanders, Trump threatened a military strike on the regime because of the Duma attack that killed more than 100 civilians and injured 1,000 others.
