    Said Zafer Caglayan , the Turkish economy minister, said his country plans to strengthen trade ties with Iraq in cooperation with China .
    The Caglayan, during a press conference "to the top of the bridge of trade" between Turkey and the world, organized by the Union of Industrialists and Businessmen Turks in Istanbul , Turkey is planning to visit Iraq with a large number of businessmen in the coming days, with the aim of improving exports to Iraq, adding that the materials consumed imported from China contributes 10% of the total Turkish imports, a figure roughly equivalent to between 3 and 2.5 billion U.S. dollars.
    And that Turkey will cooperate with China to improve exports to Iraq, though it has a large trade deficit with China, and it is very important to improve the trade relations with them.
    The minister said in response to questions from Xinhua News Agency, the Chinese government expressed its intention to increase cooperation with Turkey to enter the markets of the Middle East, especially the Iraqi market, and during the coming days, the delegation will visit China.
    Turkey currently imports most of the goods medium, machinery and equipment from China, most of the equipment and power turbines used in power stations Turkish imported from China.
    And focus the summit, which will last two days and involving more than 2450 businessmen from 130 countries on products related to food and agriculture, livestock and poultry, and consumer goods quick transport and machinery related to those products.
