The General Authority of Customs announced that 12 trucks carrying detergent were seized on Friday by the customs center of Kerem Trabil.
"After careful inspection by the customs inspection committee, the [cleaning materials] were found to have expired and the real date has been hidden and a new date of validity has been set," a statement from the agency said.
He referred to "taking all legal measures against the mission."
The statement pointed out that "this qualitative operation comes within the large and wide campaign carried out by the Customs Authority to reduce smuggling and damage the public money and to join all efforts by the customs administration despite all the difficulties and pressures facing them."
